English: Imperial Japanese Army General Staff HQ, Tokyo (1881-1923). The building was the Headquarters of the General Staff designed by the Italian foreign adviser Giovanni Vincenzo Cappelletti. Later the Chiefs of Staff moved to an adjacent building. It was the Front of Land Surveying Department. From the design of the facade, it is presumed that the building was repaired before the Meiji 27 Tokyo earthquake.
Français : État-major de l'armée impériale japonaise (1881-1923)
